This page describes cookies and similar storage on https://brandswithpurpose.life/. Read it with the privacy page. The cookie tray is a JavaScript widget, separate from the conversation form. Button labels, in order, are Allow all, Reject, and Choose. The storage key is bwp_consent. The retention window is 12 months. That is the real value this studio uses — not a generic six-month figure.

What we mean by a cookie

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. This site uses the same key in a first-party cookie to remember a preference object (whether maps embeds are allowed). We do not use the tray to capture leads or to subscribe anyone to a letter.

Categories

Essential

Essential storage is what the site needs to remember that you have made a cookie choice, and what the host needs to serve pages. The preference cookie bwp_consent is treated as essential once you have chosen. Serving HTML, CSS, JavaScript and photographs does not require an advertising identifier. Submitting a conversation to /send.php uses a standard POST; it does not set a marketing cookie.

Maps embeds

If you choose Allow all, or you Choose and keep maps embeds on, the conversation page may load a Google Maps iframe. Google may then set its own cookies or collect technical data. If you choose Reject, or you Choose and switch maps embeds off, we still show the Menara Boustead Penang address, telephone and email so you can reach the studio without the iframe. The map is a pin of convenience, not a condition of writing to us.

What we do not run

We do not run a third-party advertising network on these pages. We do not drop a retargeting pixel. We do not sell measurement of this website as a product. Fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP address to Google in the same way any third-party asset can.

Durations

bwp_consent lasts 12 months from the moment you set it, then expires. After expiry the tray may appear again. Server logs on the host follow the host’s rotation, typically days to weeks, not the 12-month preference window. Email in hello@brandswithpurpose.life follows the privacy page, not this cookie clock.

How to choose

On first visit with JavaScript available, a tray offers Allow all, Reject, and Choose. Allow all stores essential plus maps. Reject stores essential only and turns maps embeds off. Choose opens a panel where you can keep or clear the maps box and save. Without JavaScript, read this page and use your browser controls; the address on the conversation page remains usable.

Browser notes

You can delete cookies in your browser, block third-party cookies, or use a private window. Blocking all cookies may also forget your 12-month preference so the tray returns. Do Not Track signals are not treated as a substitute for the tray choice because browsers implement them unevenly; use Allow all, Reject or Choose instead. For Google’s own tools, use Google’s account settings if you use a Google account; those tools are Google’s, not the studio’s.
